Sub-server subdomains with SSL Wildcard and 1 IP address

Hello

We have the following arrangement on one of our existing servers, which I am attempting to emulate using Webmin and Virtualmin.

sub1.domain.com sub2.domain.com ...... sub9.domain.com

domain.com has a wildcard SSL and the whole lot run through a single IP address.

I cannot work out a way to gain this same configuration in Webmin. I can do it with multiple IPs, but not one IP. Benefits of using 1 IP and wilcard certificate is cost and efficiency of IPv4 addressing (which as we have a load of subdomains- one for each client - makes sense).

Any help would be very much appreciated!

I have a wildcard too. I happened to have it installed on a subserver, clients.domain.com
It works for the main domain and several other subservers.
not sure if that makes a difference.

Its not the wildcard working that I have the problem with - its the fact that Virtualmin won't allow more than one virtual server (sub or otherwise) with SSL installed with a single IP address

virtualmin does allow it as it runs like this on my server too.
It does throw a warning message in the log, but you can ignore it.

what is the error you are having, what do the logs say?
