Can you run multiple versions of MySQL? Well, not really, though perhaps sort of :-)
Virtualmin doesn't support such a configuration.
It's going to be a lot of work to set up and maintain both.
But, if configured manually, I believe it can be done :-)
Anything you do in that realm would require manually configuring MySQL to run two copies simultaneously, on different ports, and with their sockets in non-default configurations. You'd also need to find packages for both versions that don't conflict with each other.
Typically, rather than running two copies of MySQL on one server, I'd recommend the far simpler setup of using two different servers. You'd have far less problems with that over the long haul :-)
