postfix/trivial-rewrite[24514]: warning: do not list domain in BOTH mydestination and virtual_alias_domains

the log /var/log/mail.warn and /var/log/mail.info are both reporting this error kind of uderstand what is wrong but dont what to mess up the mail system.

postfix/trivial-rewrite[24514]: warning: do not list domain snagadeal.net in BOTH mydestination and virtual_alias_domains

if anybody has run into this or even can lead me in the right direction please let me know.

That's just a warning, and isn't anything to worry about.

digging up this 4 year old thread :)

Even though it is just a warning, mail on my virtualmin host seems to fail (forwaring catch-all to e.g. GMail doesn't work) and I would like to narrow down the cause, by eliminating all wired messages and errors.

In /var/log/mail.log I get:

Aug 22 16:29:35 [hostname] postfix/trivial-rewrite[4779]: warning: do not list domain [domain-name] in BOTH mydestination and virtual_alias_domains

In my /etc/postfix/main.cf I got:

alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases
alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases
myorigin = /etc/mailname
mydestination = /etc/postfix/virtual

commenting-out any of the lines results in these usual error-mails being returned, saying "message could not be delivered to one or more recipients"

Where could I start digging?

Server is debian 7 wheezy, postfix mail_version = 2.7.1, webmin 1.7, Virtualmin 4.09gpl
