Dear Webmin users,
I have moved to Webmin few months ago. I had problem with mails being delivered through MTAs but reading through forums, I found out that I had to run saslauthd. Ever since everything worked smoothly. Few days ago when I added a new domain to the server, relay access denied
problem began to appear again. The problem is that some domains can send mails without any problem but the last added domain can not send. I have checked postfix configuration against what is recommended on forums and, if I don't skip anything, configuration is ok. However, that last added domain is making me headache and the customer keeps complaining.
Would you guys help me to solve the problem, please? I will highly appreciate any help.
Warm Regards.
Howdy,
Do any additional errors show up in the mail logs, in either /var/log/messages or /var/log/mail.log?
Also, it's pretty common for this issue to be related to the email client... for example, Outlook often requires you hit a checkbox in order to authenticate outgoing emails. Without hitting that checkbox, the server will just keep giving "Relay access denied errors" each time they try to email someone. The solution there would be to make sure that their email client is configured to authenticate for outgoing SMTP connections.
