In the Webmin and Usermin Configuration modules for Operating System and Environment, the field for Detected operating system correctly displays my OS version as CentOS Linux 4.4. However, I had to manually update the field for Operating system according to Usermin from 4.3 to 4.4.
Also, the description above indicates "If they are different, you can choose to have Usermin's OS information updated, which may be necessary if you have recently upgraded." I seem to recall there being a button to have this done automatically, but it is not there any longer.
Do users have to go into Webmin and Usermin each time the OS is upgraded to a new version to reconfigure this value manually?
