I don't know why it does not work. I was wondering if it has anything to do with using IE as my browser. It appears that some things I have run into involved browser issues.
what happens is when I click on the ssh/telnet login link the little popup window comes up prompting username and password... but when I click to login it will have a status of "not connected" in black lettering on the left side and "offline" with red lettering on the right side.

now... the third party module you made that is for ssh2 only works for me... but this one has never worked for me. I think the telnet part of it worked, but I can't remember for sure as it was 4 years ago I stopped using telnet.
