Shared IP Address And ProFTPD feature

Good day!

I'm setting up a Virtualmin host with only a shared IP address. Almost all features are working, just ProFTPD isn't. It is not allowing to enable FTP feature for more than a domain at time (since It is IP based, and all domains share the same IP, right?) .

The error message is: "A ProFTPD virtual server with the same IP address already exists"

Howdy,

You don't actually need to enable IP based FTP... that's a special feature that's only necessary in special circumstances.

In most cases, folks use the standard shared FTP -- where they just go to ftp.domain.tld, enter a username and password, and log into their accounts.

Doing that doesn't require the "IP-based virtual FTP enabled" option to be enabled.
