Hi,
is there a possibility to set the AWStats default Report dir for new servers? For some reason I cant write (even as root) into the awstats folder (I cant make or see a report).
Error: AWStats database directory defined in config file by 'DirData' parameter (/home/ftpemscuola/awstats) does not exist or is not writable.
Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.servizi.emscuola.org.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong. Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).
I tried to give root rights, but I get: Operation not permitted.
So i set the report folder manually to public_html/stats. And now I want to make this as the default report dir.
Thanak you very much for your help
what log are you finding this error in? I'm trying to troubleshoot an AWstats problem myself...
