i have noticed that when FTP'ing into a users site there are lots of folders (that i think shouldn't be) on show.
basically i only want a customer to be able to see the public_html, cgi-bin folders and any other folders that they create.
at the moment they can see:
.gnupg
.spamassassin
.tmp
.usermin
awstats
cgi-bin
etc
homes
logs
Maildir
public_html
how can i make it so that those (cgi-bin, public_html) folders are the only ones on show?
thanks Ashley
Hi Ashley,
Certain kinds of users do have permissions to see those directories (and the files in them).
If you only want them modifying web-related files, you might want to create a Website Access user for them by going into Edit Mail and FTP Users -> Add a website FTP access user.
