Can't post in the forums

When I try to log in to post a message in the forum, I get this message:

Payload (the sso parameter in url query) is not set.
Signature (the sig parameter in url query) is not set.

I do appear to be logged in, I can get to my Account info on the main site, but in the forum there are no links or buttons to create a new post.

This is a new account and it has the same problem.

I am still having this problem. What's the solution?

After seeing this error, just go back to Forums manually, and hit Log In button again to login to Virtualmin Forum.

Additionally, read about Trust Levels.

Neither of your accounts are silenced, it's just that bronto has Trust Level 0 yet. Besides, I don't think you need a second account. Use robbrandt instead.

Thanks for replying.

"bronto" was a test, thinking that something was corrupt with my own account. Using "robbrandt" from now on.

The problem is that there are no controls of any kind at forum.virtualmin.com. You say "hit Login button again" but there is no button. There is no new topic button. There's no reply. Nothing. just a list of forums and topics. My "robbrandt" account has been active here for a long time, and I've never had any trouble until I posted this issue. I would think I would be able to post a new topic in the forum(?).

I would send you a screen shot but there doesn't appear to be any means of doing so here.

Give it a try now. It must work.

No difference.

It says Access Denied below the error messages. Same error messages as before.

BUT! It didn't occur to me that this could be browser related. I've been doing this on Firefox/Mac. So I tried it on Chrome/Mac and it works!

No difference if I do it in Firefox/Mac in a private window (i.e., not cookie or cache related). Javascript is fully enabled. Not sure what else about FF could be causing a problem.

Not sure what else about FF could be causing a problem.

Most likely it is caused by one of the browser's extensions. Try disabling extensions one by one to figure out which extension fails exactly, and later report it to developers.
