Unable to create Top-Level / Sub-Level Servers

Hello team, hope all is well!

We received a ticket from a reseller stating that they could not create top-level domains. We logged in with our master admin account and we couldn't even create top-level and sub-level servers? What is going on here? Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks.

Howdy -- thanks for contacting us!

It looks like your have a Virtualmin 10 license there, which means that you can only have 10 servers and sub-servers running on it.

Are you perhaps at the 10 domain limit?

Hi andreychek, that would make sense. May you please let us know what is the smoothest way to upgrade to the next available Virtualmin Pro? Thank you!

While it's not possible to upgrade a license, what we can do is cancel your existing license, and then you can purchase the next license up.

Then, you can apply it to your server with this command:

virtualmin change-license --serial SERIAL_NUM --key KEY

Let us know if you'd like us to proceed by cancelling your license!

No problem. May you please cancel and refund the remaining on serial 5579762 (10 domains) please? Thank you!

Upgrading the license fixed our issue.

No problem!

I cancelled your Virtualmin 10 order, and refunded the payment.

Let us know if you have any additional questions!
