I don't think that would work. I'm not trying to move or change a single virtual account. I'm talking about moving the entire Webmin/Virtualmin Server to a different domain. Like how you would move a WHM/cPanel to a new domain/server. I have about 16 virtual servers on this Webmin/Virtualmin Server.
Oh boy. If, for example, my company, InMotionlessHosting.com wanted to change to LessMotionHosting.com and wanted to have all related elements of the hosting services reflect LessMotionHosting.com. So, things like the nameservers would be something like NS1.LessMotionHosting.com and NS2.LessMotionHosting.com and Bind, Postfix, Dovecot, MySQL Server, etc., would need to reflect this change. I hope this clarifies my question.
I'm sorrry if I'm not helping :o)
for your recent answer, it would seem that you take my first answer above ?
and then take this part from my second then "You just need to update SSL certificate" and make sure your Postfiz, , virtulamin use the new SSL certificate.
Oh no! You've been a great help. It allowed me to refine my question and hopefully someone will have an answer. In the meantime, I am going to setup a new VPS server with the new settings and a hardened Linux, and then move the accounts 1 by 1. Thanks again for your help.
I think also you would need manually to change the NS settings then for each domain. I am not sure if you can do that automatically.
youwould need to change the NS settings at the registrar also.
apologies if I'm still not picking up your question correctly.
As I mentioned above, I will setup a new VPS server with the new settings and a hardened Linux, and then move the accounts 1 at a time Thanks again for your help!
do you wish to just rename domainA to domain B on the same server ?
use this option: Server Configuration - Change Domain Name

Virtualmin uses port 10000 It’s my opinion that you can use any domain on the server to access Virtualmin
You just need to update SSL certificate for Virtualmin
