Howdy,

Thanks for letting us know! I've reported and deleted that comment.

Please no, they failed so many times to approve the post. Sometimes the post would be lost for weeks and they got approved only because i made another topic/open a issue. Get used, Virtualmin forum will never improve simply because they lack time and motivation to deal with this problem. Instead of switching to standard forum (paid or free software) in combination with CMS to be used as news/blog section we are forced to use this Drupal crap. Hell they still use past century solution to handle the tickets from their paid customers instead of some industry standard like WHMCS.

No i write manual aproval wen persons put links in posts. If this is in forumrules and howto forum, then you can post anyway , only no links. by knowing this when important post you don't place links in it for the first you can though write an url.. ;) in stead of

always better then have to deal with spamlinking forum i respect someone choosing a solution even if not the best but opensource and so on.

The anti-spam service we were using (Mollom) discontinued service a couple of days ago (and either didn't send any notice about it, or the notice ended up in my spam folder), so we're getting much more spam than usual. I'm working on it (again).

@jfro,

If you notice any excessive spam, or just have a question feel free to drop me a line on the Skype. Unless I'm actively engaged, or sleeping, you'll generally get a response within minutes. Eric (andreychek) who does a great deal of the moderation on Virtualmin is on the east coast, and I'm on the west coast. So to that end you've got a pretty well rounded team of availability on top of Jamie and Joe who also frequent the forums while also developing the software :-)

Time difference between east and west coast its only 3 hours, hardly can be classified as "well rounded" as you are still missing EU and Asia time zone. That 3 hours is half the difference between west coast and EU (6h) and almost 3 times less than between east coast and Asia (Jap 8h, China 9h...). You guys really miss someone from EU and Asia otherwise its hard to be "well rounded"... well at least if you think to sleep few hours per day.

@Diabolico,

I should elaborate on the topic a bit. While I'm on the west coast (3 hours diff), I regularly support clients in over 15 different countries around the world, and have a pretty weird sleeping pattern as a result of. But yes, you do have a point, we're all from North America, so yeah, perhaps if looked at literally it does seem a bit less "well rounded" in that sense.

Thanks for the heads up!

I removed the spam, and closed two of the threads. The spammers seem to lock onto certain threads some times, and closing them will make em have to work a little harder.
