Please any one to help me out... I tried to install Debian 8 freshly with virtualmin also freshly.
Is there any particular reason for using Debian 8 instead of 9?
Thanks, There is no reason, I can use Debian 9 too, (I already installed another server with Ubuntu 16.04 and it is running well) For the Debian Should I use V 9...?

Virtualmin development has been mostly around the latest version of OSes. Debian 9 introduced some changes that the installer had to work around. You might find that the Virtualmin installer works best with Debian 9. Starting with the Minimal install of Debian 9 has worked well for me.
