get remote access to MySQL database

Hello,

I want to get access to the database I made in virtualmin on a remote server. If I try to connect, I get a no response error. I opened port 3306.

Howdy -- you'd need to make sure that MySQL is listening for remote connections, it only listens for connections from 127.0.0.1 by default.

It looks like you're using Virtualmin GPL there though... if you'd like a hand with how to do that, or have any follow up questions, we'd encourage you to ask those in the Forums.
