When selecting Host Systems > KVM Host Systems > Start Adding Host the green button that would install and configure the needed packages 'Install KVM Host Software' does nothing. There are no errors and no messages.
Please advise.

That's odd - does anything get logged to /var/webmin/miniserv.log or miniserv.error when you click the button?

I have the exact same problem - according to browser debugging it does not make any network calls when clicking the button. Also no console errors.
I have tried in Chrome and Edge - same problem.

Thanks for the information!
Just to verify, when you say no console errors, are you saying no errors are being logged in /var/webmin/miniserv.error?

Hi,
I mean the java script console of the browser (chrome), I checked that because JS errors (logged to console) could prevent the button from working, but there are no JS errors.
As I say when clicking the button it does not make any network connection - so there also can be no error in webmin (still I checked miniserv.error: no relevant entries there).
That means the button is not working - some java script problem - maybe the button has no event listener at all??
Can I run this function manually somehow as I urgently need to configure a server for KVM...?
Thanks

Ah, I see what you're saying now... Jamie or Ilia may need to comment on that, but if you temporarily switch to the Virtualmin Framed Theme, are you able to use that button then?

Yes, with the Virtualmin Framed Theme the KVM installation script starts fine and completes without problems!
So the problem is with Authentic Theme...
Thanks, Andriu

Ok, I see the cause of this now - it is a bad interaction between a Cloudmin bug and the theme. It will be fixed in the next Cloudmin release.
