When creating an automatic reply in Usermin, there are several ways to do so, however they are not all standardised.
- Mail -> Automatic Reply - you cannot select the start and end dates of the auto reply
- Usermin -> Filter & forward -> Quick automatic setup - you cannot select the start and end dates of the auto reply (although this seems logical)
- Usermin -> Filter & forward -> Add new email filter - you can select the start and end dates
Can this be standardised? It seems logical to always provide a user the ability to set an end date, however the user should always be offered the start and end date if selecting 1.
Thanks,
Paul

For (1), do you mean the "Automatic Reply" link on the left menu? Because this should go to the same place as (2).
I see. So the default option is 'Quick Automatic Setup'?
Would it be possible to put the start/end date into this too? Similar to the control within Virtualmin 'Edit Users'.

I suppose we could do that - the idea was to keep that page simple though, and allow the more advanced autoreply settings to be done on the Usermin -> Filter & forward -> edit file page.
Autoreply should come with calendar/date, days of the week and hours (like cron) if not what is the point to have it, e.g. it would come handy to set during working days from x to x hour and entire weekend. If you decide to bring some light to this feature it would be nice to add few more options.
In my experience users do not know to go to 'Usermin -> Filter & forward -> edit file page' to set their auto reply. They will always simply click Automatic Reply.

Yes, and it's in the Usermin version that we just released.
