Don't you find it a bit strange that the forums have an option to be notified by email when someone replies but sending a support/bug/task to the Virtualmin team does not?
I find this funny if you ask me. You have to keep checking the website to verify if someone replied to your support request because there is no option to be notified by email. Same for bugs. If you post something in the forums, the option to be notified by email is there.
If you post a support request and someone from VM replies, you get no notification.

Howdy -- you can enable email subscriptions in Account -> Issue Notifications.
The forums were setup with Comment Notify, which is a hacky solution to the crappiness of notifications in Drupal forums. But, I've also enabled the feature for comments in the issue tracker now. Still hacky and I don't really like the way it works, but I guess it's harmless and useful for following issues that you've commented on.
Note that, as with forums, this is only a checkbox for being notified that appears on comments, not the initial creation of the ticket or forum topic. This is part of why I think it's hacky and poorly implemented.
I'm gonna mark this fixed, as there's not much more I can do about it, short of replacing the issue tracker with something that has better email support (which is on my todo list, but won't be super soon...maybe a couple of months out).
