Reseller and sub server

Hello,

On one of my servers the resellers are able to manage the virtual server of sub-server type all fine.. but the subserver which go created does not have any features enabled.. ? can you point to me where this control might be..

Howdy -- by default, Sub-Servers normally inherit most features from the parent servers template.

So we may want to start by reviewing what template is being used.

When the reseller creates a new domain, which template is being used there? Is it the default Sub-Server template, or is it a custom template?

hello, I have only default and sub server templates in place. a new domain is being created from the default one. A bit over whelming at times :) these options ..

When creating a Sub-Server, are you seeing features there, and they are just unchecked?

Or is there no option at all to even enable the various features there?

when creating the sub server, the features section do not expand(with this reseller account).. the tab is there.. when i do the same via root user, the tab is there with the ticked functions..

Does the "Create" button still appear at the bottom of the page when you're logged in as a reseller?

Yes, Create button is just fine.. it create the subserver too just fine, but without any features selected. The reseller account was created via WHMCS provisioning.. hope that helps.

Check on the resellers page in Virtualmin that the reseller has permission to use all the features.

That was it :) my bad.. i guess i was not sure.. i had left it default there..
