[SOLVED] Postfix Relay access denied on fresh install

Hello, I have a fresh Virtualmin install that I just finished, and have restored all the domains that I had backed up. Everything is working fine with the exception of Postfix not delivering emails. I get the following error when someone sends an email:

Mar 15 12:15:18 mail postfix/smtpd[6035]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from correo.ivss.gob.ve[200.109.237.55]: 454 4.7.1 info@example.com: Relay access denied; from=ofresca@correo.ivss.gob.ve to=info@example.com proto=ESMTP helo=<correo.ivss.gob.ve>

How do I go about fixing this?

Howdy -- which of the emails there is being hosted on your server... the sender, the recipient, or both?

Also, if the sender is in your server, do you know how they're sending the email? For example, is that being done via something like Outlook or Thunderbird?

it's the recipient that is being hosted.

I Solved it!. I needed to add all the virtual domains to 'mydestination'. I added the necessary domains and now everything is working as it's supposed to. Thanks!

I'm glad you got it working!

If that's a good long-term fix for you (that is, if you don't anticipate needing to add many domains), that's great and we can just leave it alone.

However, if you add and remove domains a lot -- well, you really shouldn't need to do what you're doing.

Domains shouldn't have to be added to the mydestination line, if the "Mail for Domain" feature is enabled.

There are entries placed in the /var/postfix/main.cf file that should handle all that.

Again though, if you are happy with your current solution, then that's great and we can leave things as-is, it's your choice!
