Can you please confirm if a Premium Support Ticket would allow you to assist with the below? Roundcube isn't your project but it would be great if you were able to help with the integration.

I've sent two emails. Just reread the site and noticed, this is the best way to get a response.

I'm not sure if we could make any promises here - if the problem is entirely on the Roundcube side, there may be nothing Virtualmin can do.

Thanks for the response. The maintainer of Roundcube has stated on Github, he needs more feedback to understand how Virtualmin works to fix it. Hopefully, you can impart the knowledge you have to ensure it works with Virtualmin.
alecpl: Hmm.. and what if you have domains with '-' in the name? I'm asking because I have no idea about how virtualmin handles this case.
alecpl: How about allowing variables in password_virtualmin_format? By variables I mean the same set of variables that can be used in default_host option... Would that work for you? We could consider adding another variable to the supported set.

Virtualmin certainly could create a username formatted like user-x-y if the address was user@xy.com . If Roundcube needs to decode usernames back to domains, it would need to deal with this..

Does anyone working on Virtualmin have a Github account? Can you please contact Aleksander Machniak from Roundcube to assist him in fixing the issue?

Yes, I'm on github. Is there an existing high-level ticket for the Virtulamin integration on the Roundcube github that I can comment on?

@JamieCameron: Aleksander Machniak closed the related bug on Github due to "No feedback.". Any suggestions now?
