When I try to create my first virtual server I get the error message: Mountpoint (or device) /home not found or has no quota enabled.
My system is Ubuntu 16.04 with a clean install of virtual min. All I have done is move my home folder to a separate disk to create more space.
My fstab:
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
/dev/mapper/ve--vg-root / ext4 errors=remount-ro,grpquota,usrquota,rw 0 1
# /boot was on /dev/sda1 during installation
UUID=cb7ff06b-5462-4f8f-930b-4c78d8ce8c31 /boot ext2 defaults 0 2
/dev/mapper/ve--vg-swap_1 none swap sw 0 0
# (identifier) (location, eg sda5) (format, eg ext3 or ext4) (some settings)
UUID=5b4d39d8-d2cc-4b1d-a83e-8c5270dfdf36 /home ext3 grpquota,usrquota,rw 0 2
Tried:
sudo quotacheck -cum /
mauricej@ve:/home$ /usr/sbin/repquota /home
repquota: Mountpoint (or device) /home not found or has no quota enabled.
As per previous forum user with similar problem:
sudo quotaoff -a && quotacheck -avugm && quotaon -a
quotacheck: Cannot guess format from filename on /dev/mapper/ve--vg-root. Please specify format on commandline.
quotacheck: Cannot find filesystem to check or filesystem not mounted with quota option.

Hopefully I have given enough information for you to be able to help. All help is gratefully appreciated I'm up against a steep learning curve or a brick wall right now. Thank you.
Where is the Reply Button!!!! Thank you for getting back so quickly! mount output:

Howdy,
Hmm, it does look like the fstab is setup to mount /home with quotas enabled.
What is the output of this command:
mount
I'm curious if the parameters it's mounted with match what the fstab show.
