Hello,
I've been using Virtualmin for some time now and have multiple virtual servers configured.
However today there's a strange thing happening and I have nu clue how to resolve the issue.
Input
Two virtual servers involved are http://vivimmo.be and http://anewagencyworld.com
Issue
There's a url on the website http://anewagencyworld.com/bam-index that is not correctly index by google.
If I google for the term "bam index" it shows the following result:
A New Agency World | BAM-index - Vivimmo
https://www.vivimmo.be/bam-index/
So google indexes the correct title of the page but somehow adds the domain name Vivimmo to it.
Furthermore it shows https://vivimmo.be/bam-index as a result instead of http://anewagencyworld.com/bam-index.
The page https://vivimmo.be/bam-index doesn't even exist.
If I click on the Google result I get the following error message:
in Firefox: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER
in Chrome: ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
All other pages are correctly indexed by google.
Additional info
I did upgrade from Ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04 a few weeks ago and had some issues with configuring apache but everything seemed to be working correctly after some troubleshooting.
Is there someone who can assist me with this issue? Help would be much appreciated as I have no clue where to start.
Any help will be much appreciated!
Edit: Yahoo and Bing index the website url correctly. Could this be a issue @ Google?
Hi, yes you have problem with ssl cetrs on your server.. they are possibly not installed correctly.. the error I am able to read is
There are issues with the site's certificate chain (net::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID).
That being said - basically reinstall your ssl cetrs correctly and give google day or 3 to re-index your sites. I use debian personally but I think install/re-install of certs on virtualmin is same on every distro. You could also verify if you have all certs in correct place for each website.Configuring/troubleshooting Debian servers is always great fun
