for posts on the forum..if an issue starts out as public and the user has e-mail notifications set to true if the thread then changes to private due to passwords or ssh keys needing to be given notifications should be automatically disabled to prevent such information from being sent of clear text e-mail. right that does not occur allowing private information to be sent over plaintext e-mail notifications.

Howdy -- thanks for pointing this out. This isn't as easy to change as it sounds, unfortunately, though we'll look into whether there's a way we can implement something like that in the future.
