Missing "Multiple SSL websites on the same IP address" option

Running Virtualmin version 4.18 (just upgraded from GPL to Pro).

I can't seem to find the "Multiple SSL Websites on the same IP address" option. I've looked through the entire Virtualmin Configuration and thought it was under "SSL Options" but I'm not seeing it anywhere. Please advise.

Howdy -- you don't actually need to do anything to make that work. You can simply install an SSL certificate onto another domain, by going into Edit Virtual Server -> Enabled Features and enabling SSL for that domain.

Once you do that, you can install an SSL cert for that domain just like you did for the first domain.

Hi I'm also having a problem with this.

Does this also work in the GPL version? I tried to install 2 ssl certs today but could only get one to work. If on the second virtual server I then click "SSL Website Enabled?" and install a cert on this second virtual server - when I then browse back to the first virtual server website I get a warning in the browser. The warning has the cert of the 2nd site instead of the one for the 1st! Or vice-versa. How can I get two different virtual servers to both work with their own SSL?

soydemadrid, that does indeed work with Virtualmin GPL.

I suspect you're seeing an Apache configuration issue there.

It looks like you had purchased a set of Virtualmin support tickets... would you like to use one on this? We'd be happy to lend a hand, and I suspect I know what issue is causing this. If you'd like to go that route, if you could start a new support request, and then let us know what distro/version you're using, that's be great... we'll then follow up with some additional questions, and then we'll get that straightened out.

Hi thanks, after trial and error I've managed to fix this. What it seems to be is when I click to enable SSL for a virtual server it breaks other virtual servers. But then how I got round this was to copy the old vhost files back to the broken servers and the SSLs then all work correctly.

Next time I need to install a new SSL I'll try post what breaks in the file and difference the vhost file has and hopefully that way we can work out the cause.

Thanks very much for replying. I would use a support token on this but as it is currently back working I'll save them for more crucial support for now. Thanks again.
