Hi all,
I recently decide to change plesk to virtualmin pro. When i create a virtual server now it create the root path in '/home/...' and I'm not able to access to website puting the domain in the browser. I had tried to change the document root from'/home' to 'var/www/html' and now for see the content of the website I have to use the url: mydomain.com/mydomain/public_html. How can I make it working directly in mydomain.com?
Thanks
-Giulio
Hi, website content is stored in
/home/domain-user/public_html
so for example you have domainhappy.com
your content would be located in/home/happy/public_html
that is same for gpl and pro version. I have no idea how did you make switch but if you do virtualmin, it would be good to do it on fresh install of distro you prefer.Configuring/troubleshooting Debian servers is always great fun
Yup, but I want that when I go to happy.com it show the content of
/home/happy/public_html
and NOT/var/www/html
How can I do that?Thanks
-Giulio
Hi Giulio, once again, is that fresh install of virtualmin on fresh OS install as well? Or you just 'changed' from plesk to virtualmin?
