Hi,
I've purchased an SSL to a CA and installed to my webmin server. I've tried to make the installation using 2 methods:
- Via Webmin console
- Via ssh console
In both cases, I'm receiving the same ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR when reloading the page.
Please, help.
Thanks in advance,
Luis

Howdy -- if you can no longer access Webmin due to the error you're seeing, what you may want to try is to edit /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf, and change "ssl=1" to "ssl=0". After restarting Webmin, that will allow you to access Webmin without SSL, using "http" rather than "https".
With the above, that should allow you to access Webmin again and troubleshoot the issue you're seeing.
You may want to try reinstalling the certificate, and also double-check that you aren't using any non-standard SSL ciphers.
This area here is for folks using Virtualmin Pro though. If you had any followup questions, you'd want to ask those in the Forums, which you can access using the "Forums" link at the top of the page. We monitor the Forums, along with lots of wonderful folks in the community. Thanks!
I found this guide from Google, I think it may be helpful. Sometimes, the error didn't come from the server, it's from your computer.

The error message ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR error indicates that the browser is not able to initiate the secured communication at the moment. It's almost impossible to pin it down to a single cause, it could be almost anything. There is no definite guide for managing this error. However, there are few changes or settings which help you to get rid you of this error.
