smtp not working

This is the output of the maillog:

i'm using the same username and password as I do for pop (which works). So I have no idea why this wouldn't. Anyone here have? (Username is just the linux username, but I also tried user@domain.com)

If you don't get more specific suggestions, try a Google search for:

postfix cannot connect to saslauthd server

A lot of people have this problem, and you will find many things to try to fix it.
