REMOTE_ADDR now HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR ?

hello - for years we have been using REMOTE_ADDR but suddenly it appears to be pointing to my own server, while HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR now seems to correctly contain the remote address.

did something change in apache in the last couple of days?

Howdy,

I'm not aware of any large changes like that... what distro/version are you using? And which Apache version do you have installed now?

hi - its from a php 5.3.3 script that is doing an internal page forwarding. my good friend phpinfo() helped me to fix it. it just seems odd that anything changed internally.

Apache/2.2.15

Webmin version 1.770

Virtualmin version 4.18

Operating system CentOS Linux 6.7
