Problems re access after failed reboot.

Hi,

I performed a server reboot through my hosts' control panel (as I'm still learning I wanted to see if it affected the amount of memory in use).

The reboot didn't seem to be entirely successful as I got an error. Now I cannot access Virtualmin or any of my virtual servers through my browser. I can however access SSH and FTP.

I have tried

/etc/init.d/webmin restart

and have the following in miniserv.error file

[02/Sep/2015:07:48:29 +0100] miniserv.pl started
[02/Sep/2015:07:48:29 +0100] Using MD5 module Digest::MD5
[02/Sep/2015:07:48:29 +0100] Perl module Authen::PAM needed for PAM is not installed : Can't locate Authen/PAM.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/libexec/webmin /usr/local/lib64/perl5 /usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 .) at (eval 13) line 1.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at (eval 13) line 1.

So, I'm looking for ideas

All ok now.

Seemed that IPTables was responsible for Virtualmin not loading.

After my host flushed/disabled iptables access restored.

You should bring back iptables as right now you are open to all sort of attacks over all ports what is not good situation. Its ok for limited amount of time but dont leave your server open to the rest of the internet.
