remote backup fails with /usr/lib/tar/rmt: No such file or directory

ubuntu 14; webmin 1.74 - same setup on 6 cloud servers (elastichsosts.com). Exact same scripts work fine from old Debian 6 servers. Cannot find any way to set the path to rmt

have tried symlink from /usr/lib/tar/rmt to /usr/sbin/rmt-tar but no change.

All suggestions gratefully received!

Performing backup of /var/backups/adminbak to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.net:/var/backups/adminall.targz ..
tar: Removing leading `/' from member names
xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.net's password:
bash: /usr/lib/tar/rmt: No such file or directory
tar (child): xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.net\:/var/backups/adminall.targz: Cannot open: Input/output error
tar (child): Error is not recoverable: exiting now
.. backup failed!

Howdy,

What process are you using for your backup -- is that being done from within Webmin using System -> Filesystem backup?
