Setup of backup to Google Drive !

I'm using Virtualian payed version and just discovered it now accepts backup to Google Drive but documentation is not up to date and not sure what it needs from Google console website to setup it correctly ! Is there at least a beta documentation avalaible somewhere about it ?

Hi,

Virtualmin Pro doesn't support "Google Drive" but "Google Cloud Storage". These are two different services provided by Google, the latter being a paid service similar to "Amazon S3", and "Rackspace Cloud Files".

You can learn more about "Google Cloud Storage" at:

https://cloud.google.com/storage/

Once you've established your "Google Cloud Storage" account, you can go into Virtualmin Pro and setup your:

Google account email address
OAuth2 client ID
OAuth2 client secret
Project name

Then choose on the same screen whether to allow use of provider by "Resellers" and/or "Domain Owners".

I can do a dedicated 500Gb backup SSH server for you for about 15€ a month. Guarenteed 200 Mbit/s but on a 1Gbit network so virtually always hitting higher.

Thanks Peter for offer but I'll continue for now to do backup through SFTP to my personal NAS at home (fiber gigabit connection ;)
