I am attempting to update to Webmin 1.730-1 and Usermin 1.640-1 but the update is failing as follows:
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile Could not get metalink https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=epel-6&arch=x86_64 error was 14: problem making ssl connection * base: mirror.ukhost4u.com * epel: mirror.vorboss.net * extras: centos.serverspace.co.uk * updates: centos.mirroring.pulsant.co.uk Setting up Install Process Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check ---> Package webmin.noarch 0:1.710-1 will be updated ---> Package webmin.noarch 0:1.730-1 will be an update http://mirror.vorboss.net/fedora/epel/6/x86_64/repodata/e63d28ff5a765b11a7052496f481f31aebab17c28545908d54e65904a1046ec8-filelists.sqlite.bz2: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404" Trying other mirror.
It looks like the failure to make an SSL connection is to blame? How can I start to troubleshoot what might be wrong there?
Hi,
Looks like you're having trouble connecting specifically to the EPEL mirror. Try disabling the EPEL repo, then try upgrading again.

I should have made clear that I only included the first error in a long list - all repos fail in the same way - all with the "[Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22". The full error report is below. Any further thoughts?
I should learn to act on advice instead of questionning it... that did indeed fix the problem. Many thanks.
Hi,
Glad you were able to sort things out :-)
