Postfix "Network unreachable"

Hey, working on my mailserver.

Cannot get it to talk, at all.

1.Talked to my ISP, port 25 has been unblocked on their end.

  1. Looking at my Firewall, it is has rules in place to accept SMTP.

  2. In the Postfix master.cf "smtp inet n - n - - smtpd" is active

But at the end of the day, port scans read it as closed, and It cant read anything from within. What step am I missing here? Ive read tutorial after tutorial, and i got nothing.

Howdy,

What is the output of this command:

netstat -an | grep :25

Turns out my ISP had the CIDR wrong, once he took a second look he realized it and fixed it. Thanks for the thought tho!

I cannot send email. I tried to change the IP address of the server but it keeps getting Connection timeout and Network is unreachable to google and outlook emails.

my output to the command above was:

tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:25              0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN
tcp        0      1 172.31.3.47:46578       173.194.202.27:25       SYN_SENT
tcp6       0      0 :::25                   :::*                    LISTEN
