How and can i update glibc to version 2.3 ?

Hello,

for debugger php IDE (of nusphere) i want to update glibc to version 2.3

But first time, is the update to 2.3 will be compatible with virtualmin !?

and how to ? because if i start "yum update glibc" i've got :

Almost every piece of software on the server requires the stock version of glibc, it is a very critical library. Based on what I was able to find glibc 2.3 was part of CentOS 4, which is end of life. CentOS 6 comes with 2.12, which is 9 releases newer than 2.3.
