SSL Certificate for my site, want to get it right the first time.

Hello,

I've generate the file required to get my ssl certificate issues, but before I go through the process I just want to be sure that my websites will continue to work without any issues.

My site is www.domain.com which is running joomla and then I have www.domain.com/shop which is running magento. Virtualmin is running in the same domain.

I want both sites to continue to work through http, the SSL would be for checkout on the magento installation.

If I install the certificate on my virtualmin server, everything should continue to work as described above?

Howdy,

Yup, it should!

All installing the SSL certificate does is enable encryption on port 443, using 'https'. Everything you have now should continue to work as-is on port 80, and you should also have the ability to access your site using SSL on port 443.
