One of my WP sites was hacked. I deleted the virtual server and checked my backups to get a clean version of the site and restored it, and hardened by installation.
Unfortunately, between the backup and recovery I changed the format of the home folder to be domainname.tld versus the previous username. Now I cannot install or uninstall phpmyadmin using the virtualmin script gives the error cannot find: home/username/public_html/phpmyadmin.
Nor can I install phpmyadmin at home/domainname.tld/public_html/phpmyadmin as the script says another instance of phpmyadmin is at this location, which it is from the restore. However, if I manually delete the recovered instance, I still cannot run the install script.
Anyway out of this mess?
Howdy,
Yeah, it sounds like the Install Script is a bit confused.
What you can do is look for the script definition in /etc/webmin/virtual-server/scriptlog/, and look for the config file for that particular Install Script in that set of directories.
Once you find it, you would need to update the installation directory for phpMyAdmin.
