Scheduled Backups, command to run after backup, user account

I am troubleshooting a "command to run after backup" issue. Which user account is used to run these commands? If not root, can I precede the script with SUDO to run it as root?

Howdy,

Those commands are run as root.

You can use any command there that would also work on the command line... so long as the command works on the command line, you can use it as a command to run after backup.
