I am setting up a Wordpress multisite blog and having a little bit of trouble. I've searched and searched and it seems that I want to create aliases pointing to the main blog. But for the life of me I can't find where you configure the alias. It probably staring me in the face and I can't see it for looking.
Here's what I want to have when its configured:
site1.com
site2.com
site2a.site2.com
All of those siteX.coms would be aliases of site1.com. In addition I need
othersite.com
somethingelse.com
etcetcetc.com
all hosted on their own virtual servers on virtualmin. (It would be possible to have another virtualmin server for the other domains, but I'd rather not if at all possible.)
Will what I want to do work? How do you setup domain aliases?
My dad would say "if it was a snake it would have bitten you." If anyone else is as blind as I am (which I doubt is even possible ;-) here is how you set up an alias:
Virtualmin (choose the domain you want to alias) > Create Virtual Server > On the right hand TOP of the screen choose New virtual server type: Top-level server | Sub-server | Alias of yoursitehere.com | Alias of yoursitehere.com, with own email
Dang it is soooo obvious. At least I got a good laugh at myself.
Glad you got it figured out, thanks for letting us know how you did it!

Doing the same here, it can be a complicated setup.
Thanks for the advice, seems to work for my application, too.
