hi all - very general question:
i started playing with clouDNS.net because intoDNS.com was complaining about having my nameservers at the same location as my website.
my question: if all the A & MX record pointing is going on somewhere else, are the virtualmin SOA records unneeded, or ignored (superfluous ;) ?
the reason i ask is that i noticed that virtualmin SOA records may not have the correct nameserver, although i question if this matters anyways.
yes i know - i need to actually READ my dns-bind book, and my webmin book and not just study the covers.
What exactly was intodns complaining about? Can you give a concrete example?
As for the SOA question, I'm not sure I understand what you mean exactly. Can you re-phrase the problem please?
