Local backup files missing

Local backup files missing

Hello all,

I don't know for how long this has been happening. I have schedule backups on all my virtualmin boxes, local and remote destinations, and I’ve just realized that local files are missing! I receive a Complete Backup email, but the directory is empty! Remote backups are ok, files are there. I have virtualmin in 4 servers, and it is happening on all of them.

Please check attached images, with backup configurations and the file manager showing and empty directory. All directories are empty. It used to work ok, I believe after an update the problem started.

Howdy,

Which Virtualmin version is it that you're using there?

There were some backup related bugs that were fixed in the most recent version (3.97-2).

Hi Eric,

I updated all servers this morning. The version shown on system information page is "Virtualmin version 3.97.gpl GPL."

I have some hourly scheduled backups, and several backups were done after the update. But the problem persists, I got empty local folders.

What can I do?

Eric, the problem started on Nov 29. The following updates were installed on that date:
