MySQL problems after updating

I had updated Virtualmin to 3.96 yesterday. Since the upgrade I had problems connecting with MySQL when I'm sending a file via FTP:

mysql -u user -p Enter password: ******** ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'user'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

If I reduce the bandwidth or if I cancel the transfer, I can connect perfectly to MySQL. What has changed updating? What I can do to solve that? Thank you very much!

I'm not really sure what might cause that... what distro/version are you using though?
