Virtual server names lock

Hi,

I would like to know why Virtualmin is keeping track of deleted virtual-server names.

In /etc/webmin/virtual-server/names

There is a *.lock file for all the virtual server that was once existing.

Can we delete those freely after a VS has been delete.

In other words, what's the use of those files ?

Thank you

Howdy,

They're only supposed to be there temporarily, while Virtualmin is using those files.

If you restart Webmin, and those files are still there, you can certainly delete them. It's curious that they're collecting though...

Ok thank you. I'll add that to my after virtual-server deletion script.
