Hi guys,
i'm tryin to create a ftp user which can just access to a sub folders of cgi-bin in my virtual server. I don't want this folders can be accessed trough the web so i don't want to put the folder in public_html and i already try to protect it by password but the user can delete the .htaccesd file.
I search in google for a long time but don't find my answer
Thanks,
Ben
Howdy,
There isn't currently a way to setup an FTP access user who can only write to the cgi-bin directory... at least, no automated way to do it.
You could always go into Edit Users -> Add website FTP access user, add a user that way, and then manually update the user's home directory to be in cgi-bin rather than public_html.
