I'd like to use FCGId, as I understand this is will solve an I have with Wordpress saving all files as www-data instead of the domain's user.
However when I enable FCGId mode in Virtualmin I can't use PHP files...I have to return back to Apache mod_php. I'm sure I need to set something up in suexec or Apache, but I'm at a loss as this is unfamiliar terrority. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
Howdy,
How did you initially perform your Virtualmin installation -- did you use the install.sh script?
Also, what happens exactly when you set it to use FCGID -- what kinds of errors do you see? And what errors are in $HOME/logs/error_log?
Thanks,
-Eric
I didn't install using the install.sh script - I've come to learn that was a rookie mistake. However I'm too far in to go back now, but this is the last remaining thing I need fixed.
The error I receive in Chrome is "500 Internal Server Error".
In the error_log file says "Premature end of script headers: php5.cgi"
