Webmin and usermin need pam_unix.so to let the created accounts, in virtualmin, access them.
Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7 are using OpenPam and by default pam_unix.so is not installed. How can I let my clients login?
Root is no problem while I have a Mac OS X root account. (I used the same name and password while I installed webmin.
The way root has access is by using: pam_opendirectory.so
But what ever I try I am not able to login as a client, an account created trough virtualmin.
(PS I compiled OpenPam on a second apple comp and moved the compiled pam_unix.so. But no luck) Invalid login as nameclient from IP address
anyone ? Pam is loading without errors. Problem remains that Every account created in virtualmin is not able to login webmin or usermin (password not found)
therefore I get the same problem while trying to login with mail, password not found.
FTP access is possible, but it is able to use pam_opendirectory.so I guess
Using Mac Mini 2011 i7 quad core Mac OS X 10.7.1 server.
