Roundcube and webmail.domain.tld

hi everyone and congrats for a great product

while having virtualmin gpl ttesting it on one of my vps i noticed somthing that i want to change for example after installing roundcube round cube itself uses the username generated from virtualmin instad of the full name set on that user and also i want to know if i am able to ridirect webmail.domain.tld to the www.domain.tld/webmail not that is a problem but just making it appropriate thnx for the time

Howdy,

That's correct, RoundCube would be using the usernames created by Virtualmin, or any other usernames that exist on the server.

Dovecot is the IMAP/POP server running on your system that RoundCube authenticates with, and it only accepts a username that's defined on the system -- such as the usernames created by Virtualmin.

I suppose it's possible that someone developed a RoundCube plugin that would do what you want... if that's the case, it would be in the plugins section of the RoundCube website.
