[Solved] Unable to access port 20000 also unable to delete any emails

Hello everyone, this problem started happening recently (after the recent update) I am unable to login to usermin, as well i can not delete any emails from roundcube, i can send and receive no problem.

Any ideas?

Thank you P.S: i'm running Ubuntu 8.04

Howdy,

What happens when you try to do those things? Do you get an error of some sort? If so, what error?

Also, what shows up in the mail logs, /var/log/mail.log?

When i try to access port 20000 from browser (https://192.168.1.2:20000) i get a regular message saying Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.2:20000.

and mail.log shows

Howdy,

Well, the browser error you're seeing may mean that Usermin isn't actually running at the moment.

You may want to try restarting it by running this command:

/etc/init.d/usermin restart

After that, are you able to access port 20000 on your server?

Thank you sir.... that fixed everything.... somehow...(also i rebooted the computer)
