Clock settings

Hello,

Virtualmin System Info -> Time on server -> System time Time is not correct. It is the same as [...]$ date which displays EDT zone despite Change Time Zone displays the correct zone I've set months ago (/etc/sysconfig/clock)

"Cannot access the Hardware Clock via any known method." is another issue.

How can I correct the time zone? Thank you

On Centos you would do something like

`ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Los_Angeles /etc/localtime`

Thanks for your answer. This is Centos and sym link is already created. The question is about Virtualmin use. I think there is a problem with my zone definition

ln with LA shows me PDT time Changing to America/Montevideo it displays EDT time. This is not correct all time of year. How can I get a good zoneinfo set. I installed the server from Webmin-Virtualmin. Thank you.

You can not change the time on a VPS. You have to ask your provider.
