I need some advice on what to do :o)
I have one server running and a backup server at home (both Centos and Virtualmin). I run another server DirectAdmin (had for over 5 years) which I will be dropping due to its age.
I have just got a new server and plan on installing Virtualmin.
what about this cloud stuff ? I have read things about it but don't understand if it will help me or not.
Do I install webmin/Virtualmin on my second server, then buy cloudmin to work on my 3 servers (2 servers plus backup server) ?
typically I will want to run different sets of web sites that I manage on the two servers, will Cloudmin for Physical Systems help me do that ?
any suggestions or guidance much apreciated.

Virtualmin will help you manage shared web hosting tasks on any one given server, similar to how DirectAdmin works.
But it's limited to that one server -- you can't log into Virtualmin on one server, and perform management tasks on another server. You'd need to open up another browser window, and log into Virtualmin on your other server in order to do that.
When you have enough servers, logging into each Virtualmin instance can become a bit cumbersome -- so what Cloudmin for Physical Servers offers is a single place to login, and perform management tasks on all your servers running Webmin/Virtualmin.

just to clarify then on my new server I should install Virtualmin Pro (I want Virtualmin Pro becaase of teh extra facilities it offers, couldn't run it without these :o) )
and then I also get a licence for Cloudmin for Physical Servers and that will help me manage multiple servers.

Yup, that sounds about right!
Cloudmin can manage a Virtualmin GPL or Pro instance -- but those Pro features can certainly come in handy :-)
